Fonfy, I only got to spend some short time with you. I wish I would have had the opportunity to spend much more time with you. I remember at a super bowl party at Martin’s house when my wife and I sat down and ate lunch with you. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time, and I haven’t laughed that hard since. I am sure that you had the same effect on many people. Your service was beautiful, and your family legacy is amazing. Cheers!

All our moments together were happy moments; I do not remember a sad moment with him.

Gracias Martin por compartir esta web. Lindos recuerdos de su vida.
Las palabras de Rachel nos hizo llorar a todos. Que en paz descanse el pobre. Ha sido una larga batalla contra esa enfermedad.

Fonfy and his memory will live forever in our lives. His personality and witty could light up the world. I was fortunate to spend time with him a few months back when he visited Miami. That last time I saw him was very special to me and my family. His strength and perseverance is an inspiration to us all. All I know is that Heaven now will be a fun place to look forward to spending the hereafter since he will be there to greet us all. We will miss you and remember your smile always.
Your cousin, Jorgito.

Fonfy,
You touched the lives and hearts of so many and I feel blessed to have been a part of your extended family. I always admired you for the manner in which you lived your life. You always had a warm smile and kind words for everyone you encountered and your passion for family, friends, good food and good times was always evident. It broke Alyssa’s heart to say good-bye to you but later she told me that she now has a new guardian angel in heaven to look out for her. You will always live on in our hearts and we shall forever cherish our memories of the countless special times we shared with you.
Love Always, Linda (Money Lady)

What an amazing man Fonfy was. He brought joy , laughter and happiness into all of our lives. I can still remember the BBQ’s at the old house on Janel. Alma del Barrio was always playing and there was Fony cooking up some good Italian Sausages with a smile & a beer in hand. I will never forget Oct 23,1996, Frank & I were sitting at Los Ranchos celebrating our 1 yr anniversary, when we went to ask for the check, the waiter said it had already been taken care of & said the man behind us had paid, when I turned around, there was Fonfy with his bright blue eyes and big smile. After many years, he still recognized me from a distance. We hugged & cried of joy & I will never forget that day. I also remember the last time he came to my house here in Miami, that I said to him ” Look, I finally got my pair of Congas” he smiled and smacked his hands away at them & said how he always remembered me trying to play his as a little girl & said “okay y ahora que vamos a cocinar?” How could you not have loved him. I speak on behalf of my entire family here when I say, he will be truly missed but never forgotten. We love you Fonfy!
Love,
Janelle
